Physical exam such as blood or urine test can also be done to rule out the underlying medical conditions.

Anxiety attacks

Anxiety builds slowly and can worsen a stressful event.  The symptoms of anxiety can vary from person to person. It is the feeling of overwhelming worry and fear.

Common symptoms of anxiety disorder are

  • Dizziness
  • Dry mouth
  • Sweating
  • Restlessness
  • Shortness of breath

Types of anxiety disorder

  1. PTSD- Post traumatic stress disorder. The anxiety followed by a traumatic event for a long time.
  2. Phobia- Excessive fear of an activity or a situation. For example, phobia of height, water or even clowns.
  3. Panic- A person with panic disorder might live in fear of next panic attack. You may sweat, have chest pain or sometimes feel like having a heart attack.
  4. Social anxiety- When you are too scared about your image of being judged by people.

Controlling anxiety can be really troublesome but one can always fight. Limiting caffeine intake, meditating, quitting smoking and avoiding alcohol are few tips to come over anxiety.
