Aerobic exercise: Practice at home

You should move your body every day. Walking, cycling or swimming can help you to live a healthy life. It is a type of cardiovascular conditioning. Aerobic means exercising with oxygen; hence, your breathing and heart rate will increase during aerobic exercise. It is crucial for keeping heart, lungs, and circulatory system healthy.

While exercising, you move your arms and legs. You will start breathing faster which will help to maximize the amount of oxygen in your blood. The increased blood flow to muscles and lungs will result in faster heartbeat. Moreover, your body will start releasing endorphins which is natural painkillers and further your well-being will be improved.

Aerobic exercise at home

1. Walking

All you need is a pair of sports shoes. Walking daily reduces the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart diseases, and high blood pressure. Make sure you walk for at least half-an-hour every day. Also, you can download any fitness tracking application from Google to keep a check on distance covered.

2. Jumping ropes

The equipment you will need for it is a jumping rope and pair of shoes. Jumping ropes daily develops better co-ordination and agility. It also assists in developing better body awareness. It should be performed every day for at least 15 minutes. You can increase the time according to your metabolism.

3. Aerobic exercise circuit

A chair or couch and a pair of shoes is needed for this. It will build your strength and will tone major muscle groups.  Aerobic circuit includes squats, dips, push-ups, lunges and torso twists. 

A research recommends that 30 minutes of aerobic exercise is must every day. However, you can fix your schedule and breaks according to your strength. If you are new to this, it is recommended to see a doctor as they can assess your health and make a fitness routine which is best for you.
