Making a Difference in Other’s Life: An Interview with Harsha

Harsha Pandey Banthia is a young lifestyle and Yoga Coach. She is following her passion by helping others attain greater fulfillment in life. Healthroom got a chance to converse with Harsha to know more about her journey!

Hey Harsha. Welcome to HealthRoom!

1. What made you inclined towards being a lifestyle coach?

I preach what I practice. So when I saw how Yogic science and sound healing solved my physical pain and emotional trauma. It motivates me to take these teaching to others who need them and share a helping hand to them.

2. Who is your role model or someone you look up to as an inspiration?

I look up to Oprah Winfrey.

3. For how long have you been a lifestyle coach?

I have been practicing as a lifestyle coach for more than a decade.

4. What challenges you came across in getting to where you are right now?

In India many people are still not aware of Self love, self care, importance of mental health. To spread this awareness was a challenge.

5. Would you like to suggest any community where people who are in the same profession as you can join?

Yes, I would suggest Samartha Conscious Living, Sivananda Vedanta School.

6. Any upcoming event that you are looking forward to participate in?

I am looking forward to Yogathon and Samartha Retreat event.

7. What things from your daily life you’ll recommend others for a better lifestyle?

I would recommend Daily 30 min of physical exercise and 15 min of pranayama for a better lifestyle.

8. What are some values or principles that are really important to you?

These 3 values I practice in my life

1. Keep learning and applying. No learning is useful, till you apply it in your life. 2. Preach what you practice 3. Be consistent

9. To conclude this interview, would you like to share any message for the readers who are in same journey as you?

Give more importance to Health, then just fitness. You might be able to run 100km or lift 200kgs and still be sad and angry inside. That’s not healthy. It’s time we look into Holistic health giving equal importance to physical, mental and emotional health.
