World environment day: Together for nature

Since 1974,  world environment day has been celebrated on 5 June every year. It is crucial and renowned day for environmental action. Government, businesses, celebrities and citizen comes together and makes efforts on pressing environmental issue. However, it will be celebrated digitally this year. Every year a country hosts World environment day, this year Colombia has partnership with Germany to focus on the biodiversity. 2020 has been a critical year till now, however, we are still rooting the things to fall back to normal soon. This year of urgency and action for the crisis that nature is facing should be acknowledged well.

Moreover, the theme for this year is biodiversity. The bush fire in Brazil, Australia and United stated followed by a deadly virus resulting into pandemic. Furthermore, the locust infestations across many countries. This is a way of nature trying to converse with us.
